Yes, Nintendo is actually considering
adding DLC (DownLoad Content) for some of there games. This come from
an article on http://www.computerandvideogames.com.
From other articles I've read, Nintendo
has stated that they will not release unfinished games that make you
have to pay for DLC to get the rest of the game.
Perhaps I'll create a list of things I
want as download content.
